As a part of an expansion of the JNPT port in Mumbai, India, SMIT assisted BOSKALIS in removing of obstructions prior commencement of dredging in the channel in order to widen and deepen the channel. Flat top barge IBIS with 650 MT crawler crane was used to remove all obstacles from the seabed.
