For the first time in history, we undertook refit of a Fast Patrol Vessel (FPV), away from our mother port Porbandar, at Kolkata. Despite severe constraints from the local mindset of Kolkata, we were technically successful in completing the refit with the workmanship, the professionalism of the highest order. This not only gave us a boost for undertaking refits of a higher magnitude but also a confidence that we can conduct a ship repair activity in any part of the country. Refit of ICGS Sucheta Kripalani was, in fact, a trendsetter for our company.
